PAST STAGE WORK

SYSTEMS
written by Madi Goff

SYSTEMS is a comedy about trauma and working with the past to make the most out of the present.

SYSTEMS received an Equity staged reading produced by Bespoke Plays at The Pico in Los Angeles in October 2022.

The play follows Elizabeth, the host alter in the Blue Aster System, a DID system. Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), formerly known as “Multiple Personality Disorder” in the DSM, is a diagnosis that carries a great deal of stigma due to harmful stereotypes in large part created by media (TV and film). While this disorder is serious and often requires psychiatric assistance and therapy, SYSTEMS aims to show a person with DID in a non-sensationalized, realistic light. The character with DID is an adulting adult with friends, family, and, like everyone, drama.

LADY FACE

written by Madi Goff

In February 2022, Bespoke Plays produced a staged reading of LADY FACE at The Pico in Los Angeles.

LADY FACE is a darkly comedic sci-fi play about artificial intelligence, the theatre, and what it means to be human.

Jane Austen UnScripted: Tea at Pemberley
