Madi (they/them) is a former Texas cowgirl and low-key science geek turned actor, writer, improviser, and teaching artist. Currently, they are an MFA acting student at The Old Globe & USD Graduate Theatre Program.

Madi’s stage plays LADY FACE and SYSTEMS were workshopped and produced as staged readings by Bespoke Plays in 2022. They were a member of The Road Theatre’s 2023 Under Construction playwright’s group, where their play TUCK & TAMI ARE OKAY WITH GAY PEOPLE received a staged reading at The Road.

The queer sci-fi short EVERY MORNING, written by Madi, was produced by Spacetime Production with Dr. Erin Macdonald as lead producer and Kelly Lohman directing. Madi acts in the film alongside Mary Chieffo with Terry Farrell featured as “Dr. Adan”.

Madi is a member of Ripley Improv, and alum of Impro Theatre as well as the Groundlings Sunday Company.
